Award Winners

We recently received our first large novelty cheque. I follow Luke Fahy from the Armidale professionals on twitter @armidalehomes?. He mentioned a local community award as part of the LGSA Local Govt Week. I submitted my Buy Local Marketplace website and described how it could benefit the community in 100 words.

A few months later we got a call saying we had won! We collected our prize at the SLEX opening ceremony from Mayor Ducat and David Crough from Essential Energy, who sponsored the prize. This photo was taken by David Doyle.

It was very exciting, my wife and daughters and other well wishers came along. Nice to see government and business supporting local and enviromental initiatives.
